The purpose of the position:
To run & fully manage the Durban branch according to standards & requirements set by the JHB branch. This includes full operational function of the Durban branch inclusive of stock receipts, control & dispatch & full stock control. To build & maintain & service customer base from Durban and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
GENERAL MANAGEMENT:
Day to day management of Durban Operations & warehouse.
Management of staff and all other HR matters
ADMINISTATION & STOCK MANAGEMENT:
Manage all deliveries
Manage fleet vehicles (maintenance & fuel usage)
Manage branch expenses (monthly reporting)
Manage inventory (stock takes, stock receipts & safekeeping etc.)
Manage company assets
SALES - ADMINISTRATIVE & RELATED:
Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenue
Develop strategy for product (new) introductions
Provide feedback and support to internal and external stakeholders
Liaise with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives
Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue
Assist in budget preparation (sales)
Generate timely sales reports and client visits
Analyze data to identify sales opportunities
Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
Propose promotional ideas and materials
SALES - CUSTOMER & CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS:
Manage and negotiate with Customer suppliers and key partners
Develop sales presentations and proposals
Build an ethical and professional brand image in the market place
Investigate lost sales and customer accounts
Generate & Drive Client visits
Cultivate effective business relationships
Any other reasonable additional duties given from time to time (required of the Employee in order to enable the Company to fully utilize its manpower resources)
