Permanent - Coffee Equipment Technician - Jhb - South Africa

A well-known coffee equipment company is looking for a Technician who would be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing coffee machines and related equipment. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing customer support, and ensuring that coffee equipment operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair coffee machines, grinders, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
• Provide on-site and remote support to customers regarding machine operation and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain records of repairs, service calls, and equipment performance.
• Order and manage spare parts inventory for repairs and servicing.
• Train clients or staff on proper use and care of coffee machines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in repairing and maintaining coffee machines or similar equipment is preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport (if required for service calls).
• Willingness to travel for on-site servicing and maintenance.
• Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge is a plus.
