Permanent - Petrol Mechanic - Johannesburg - South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain petrol-driven Toyota vehicles, including engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
• Conduct routine maintenance services, inspections, and safety checks.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical issues efficiently.
• Perform engine overhauls, suspension repairs, brake system servicing, and electrical fault-finding.
• Ensure all work is completed according to Toyota manufacturer specifications and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed, parts used, and customer concerns.
• Stay updated with the latest Toyota vehicle technology and mechanical advancements.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop environment.

Requirements:

• Red Seal Certification as a Petrol Mechanic (Trade Tested).
• Experience working as a Petrol Mechanic, with a strong focus on Toyota vehicles.
• Must have experience with Toyota diagnostic systems and OEM repair procedures.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
