Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this role is to provide Technical Sales support for Aftersales to Clients within the assigned Region, primarily through on-site visits. The role focuses on strengthening customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities and ensuring high levels of service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
Unified Representation: Collaborate closely with Capital and Internal Parts Sales teams
Customer Intelligence: Stay informed about evolving customer requirements and ensure the company's CRM/database is consistently updated with the latest information.
Meeting Cadence: Define and agree on a regular meeting schedule with each customer. Document meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
Responsiveness: Address customer requests promptly and provide regular, transparent feedback to keep them informed.
Service Level Agreements (SLAs): Be fully aware of any SLAs in place and ensure service delivery consistently meets or exceeds all agreed upon standards.
Territory Management Responsibilities:
Asset Tracking: Maintain a comprehensive and up to date list of all operational company equipment within the assigned territory.
Competitive Intelligence: Monitor and report on competitor activities, trends and market movements within the territory.
Proactive Maintenance Oversight: Actively manage and track equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Sales Management Responsibilities:
Collaborative Analysis: Work closely with Internal Sales Personnel to:
- Analyze customer sales volume relative to the number of machines in operation within the Region.
- Identify customers buying patterns to third party suppliers and investigate underlying reasons.
- Strategic Growth: Develop and implement targeted strategies to Increase Customers’ sales volume with the company
- Quotation Management:
- Follow up on outstanding quotations to drive closure.
- Investigate and document reasons for lost quotations, communicate findings to the Manager and capture them in the ERP system.
- Conversion Optimization: Actively contributes to improving quotation conversion rates through customer engagement and value driven proposals.
- Sales Funnel Development: Proactively build and manage the sales funnel to consistently exceed sales targets. General Responsibilities
- CRM Management: Ensure all customer-related data and interactions are accurately maintained in the CRM system.
- Administrative Compliance: Adhere to established administrative systems and procedures to support a high level of responsiveness to customer needs.
- Product Promotion: Actively promote the full range of company products. Coordinate with Capital Sales for follow up opportunities.
- Quality Standards: Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) standards in all customer interactions and internal processes
