Permanent - Pharmacist (Relocate – Fiji) - Lautoka, Fiji - Fiji

Position Overview

• Seeking qualified and registered Pharmacists to join their growing network of pharmacies. This is a full relocation opportunity for South African–qualified pharmacists who are interested in an international career with excellent support from the employer.
• The company will provide accommodation, flights, transportation, and relocation assistance for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medication accurately and in line with regulatory standards.
• Provide professional patient counselling and pharmaceutical care.
• Maintain proper stock control, expiry management, and scheduling compliance.
• Manage and supervise pharmacy staff where required.
• Ensure ethical and legal compliance with Fiji’s Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) regulations.
• Oversee prescription interpretation, dosage calculation, and drug interaction checks.
• Deliver exceptional customer service within the retail pharmacy environment.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records.
• Participate in audits, compliance checks, and health promotion activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent recognised qualification.
• Registered Pharmacist with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in a retail or community pharmacy environment (hospital experience also considered).
• Valid Driver’s Licence (advantageous).
• Clear criminal and credit record.

Relocation Requirements (Visas & Documentation

• Valid passport (minimum 6 months validity).
• Police Clearance Certificate.
• SAPC Certificate of Good Standing.
• Certified copies of degree and academic transcripts.
• Full CV with references.
• Medical Report (as per Fiji MHMS guidelines).
• Passport-sized photographs.

Work Visa / Employment Permit

• Successful candidates will apply for a Fiji Work Permit sponsored by the employer.
• Employer handles the submission to the Fiji Immigration Department.

Pharmacist Registration in Fiji

• Must register with the Fiji Pharmacy Profession Board under the Ministry of Health.
• Requires verification of qualifications and professional standing (via CGS and academic documents).
