Reporting to Regional IT Manager
Description of the function
- To ensure the IT and OT Application & Infrastructure environment stability, performance, security and progressive evolution by managing and supporting it in line with the company's Group IT and Security Policies.
- To assist with regional support activities.
- This function reports into the Regional IT Manager
Job Function:
Ensure the local Application & Infrastructure environment stability, performance, security and progressive evolution
- To manage all local infrastructure (network, server, pc, …)
- To manage all local applications
- To manage technical security
- To manage local back-up
- To manage local disaster recovery
- To manage local release (patch, …)
- To manage local maintenance / support contracts
- To participate in yearly budget cycle
Provide end user support for all users in the assigned region in line with the Group Global service desk:
- Centralize all IT incidents and IT requests using common group IT helpdesk tool
- Ensure proper handling of support tickets according to priority
- Keep users informed of the expected resolution time and the priority of the incident or the request
- Escalate where needed and follow-up on escalated tickets
- Assure the follow-up and the closing of the incident and/or request
Manage Local Suppliers:
- To evaluate and select adequate supplier (equipment delivery, maintenance, …)
- To promote long-term oriented, honest, collaborative relationship
- To manage co-operative improvement initiatives
- To follow-up their service levels and costs
Asset management (budgeting, ordering material, keeping clear records of assets and inventory
Manage Software Licensing:
- To manage local software contracts
- To ensure software compliancy
Establish and maintain all necessary documentation as per Group requirements
Actively pursue knowledge of IT best practices within the company
