- Conduct site visits to assess earthmoving equipment condition and repair requirements
- Conduct site visits to assess plant maintenance and fabrication Requisitions for Quotations (RFQs)
- Generate and follow up on sales leads, tenders, and RFQs
- Liaise with engineering, drafting, and workshop teams to ensure accurate scoping and pricing
- Engage customers to understand their technical requirements and operational challenges
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing ongoing support and addressing technical issues
- Foster customer trust and long-term loyalty
- Collaborate with sales teams to promote products and provide technical expertise during the sales process
- Stay informed on industry trends and customer needs, providing up-to-date technical information
- Assist in negotiating sales contracts, ensuring technical specifications are clearly defined
- Adapt to different customer needs across various industries
- Clearly explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in fabrication and earthmoving equipment repairs (essential)
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Drafting and Design, or Marketing with a sales background
- Valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel extensively
- Computer literacy essential
