Purpose Of the Position

  • Systems Administration, Assist with Integration Development Projects, aligning systems and operational processes, optimising, reporting and streamlining operational processes

Duties And Accountabilities

1. Administration

  • Assist BPM team with administration of systems and general settings i.e., CargoWise One, SAGE, Parcel Perfect
  • Assist BPM team in ensuring system security and user control
  • Assist with Business Unit reporting

2. Training Coordination

  • Schedule training with trainer and user as requested or where the need is identified

3. Aligning of Systems and Operational Processes

  • Identifying gaps in operational processes
  • Finding solutions to operational processes versus system gaps, e.g., using SQL queries
  • Implementing changes to process
  • Documenting processes and user guides

4. Helpdesk Coordinator

  • Assisting the BPM team to assign and attend to EDI Helpdesk tickets
  • Follow up and close tickets within the allocated time frame

5. Projects

  • Assist with implementation of system projects when required, e.g., EDI integration projects, application upgrades
  • Assisting in application upgrade testing as allocated
  • Manage Integration & Automation projects

6. Ad hoc Requests

  • Assist with ad hoc requests and reports as they are presented

Requirements

Knowledge & Experience

  • Matric or senior certification equivalent
  • Tertiary qualification and industry experience are recommended and highly advantageous
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Must be CargoWise Specialist Certified
  • CargoWise Professional Certified (Advantageous)
  • Excel level intermediate
