The Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by actively identifying, pursuing, and closing sales opportunities. This role involves managing accounts, playing a critical part in achieving the company's sales targets and strategic goals. The ideal candidate has strong relationship-building skills, understanding of the sales process, and a proven track record in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with clients.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales deals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and post-sale support.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
  • Collaborate with head office team and on-site installations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Tertiary studies in business, marketing or related field (preferred).
  • Preferably bilingual English and Afrikaans
  • Reliable own car
  • Valid driver’s license
  • They may be away from home from time to time
  • Microsoft computer literate
  • No criminal record or history of alcohol or drug abuse
  • Be able to handle pressure and team work
  • Be prepared to work late on occasions
  • Cold calls to be discussed at interview
  • MUST HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOUR
