We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to lead our sales operations within the automotive spare parts industry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a proactive approach to driving sales growth while managing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow market share
  • Actively market and promote company products to new and existing customers
  • Drive sales performance and achieve revenue targets
  • Ensure optimal stock availability aligned with customer demand
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to deliver results
  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and support where needed
  • Ensure compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Identify market opportunities and respond to industry trends
  • Manage operational efficiency within the sales function

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in the automotive spare parts industry
  • At least 3 years’ management experience within the same or similar industry
  • Diesel-electric experience will be advantageous
  • Matric (Grade 12) – Non-negotiable
  • Relevant sales or marketing qualification/certification will be beneficial
