REPORTING TO THE GENERAL MANAGER, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
JOB PURPOSE:
To facilitate business development and maximise company profits by ensuring participation in the target market
JOB FUNCTION:
Existing business is retained at agreed percentage and market share is increased by obtaining new business
Customer relations management database is maintained
Product and service proposals to customers are price and technologically competitive
Monthly presentation to management of market research and marketing activities in own area
Business Unit’s market segment and market position is identified and developed
Improvement areas are identified, and strategies implemented for added value opportunities
Immediate action is taken on non-compliance issues
Liaison with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
All expenditures are managed as per company policy
Marketing events and activities are arranged as per Strategy
Analyse web-based marketing opportunities
Technical direction is provided as required, objectives and targets are reviewed against standards
