Prevent and oversee shrinkage and damages.
Oversee logistics in warehousing and expenses in the department e.g. overtime
Oversee the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems. Stock control, quality and including stocktake preparation.
Ensure regulation of in-stock level complies with demand. Collaborate closely with finance on stock levels and orders.
Engage in the forecast of supply and demand to obtain information useful in improving the continuity of supply chain.
Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
Ensure Customer Orders are delivered on time.
Supervise the maintenance of a warehouse and ensure proper arrangement of stock.
Work alongside and oversee drivers on their daily deliveries; utilizing optimal routes
Daily cycle counts.
Enforce safety and housekeeping program on an ongoing basis.
Positively contribute to the cycle of continuous improvement in the warehousing environment through the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, practices and people.
