Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet business needs. 

  • Collaborate with events, multimedia, and marketing team to produce printed materials for field meetings, expos, and conventions.  Regularly review all printed and digital materials to ensure compliance with corporate brand standards. 
  • Analyse department needs and manage production and printing costs for non-stock items. 
  • Serve as key liaison between the company and vendors, contractors, and freelancers. 
  • Manage price adjustment process and supervise project pricing across the African region. 
  • Track all marketing literature from inception to completion. 
  • Provide weekly status reports on upcoming and completed projects to the Marketing Department. 
  • Oversee the translation of literature across relevant African language markets. 
  • Maintain communication with vendors, departments, Distributors, and country offices. 
  • Proofread all artworks at both copy and preprint stages. 
  • Source promotional materials as requested. 
  • Manage the product labelling system — resource numbers, version control, and drive management. 
  • Assist Product Supply and Quality Control with label change approvals. 
  • Compile and manage the monthly social media content schedule (subject to Marketing Manager approval). 
  • Assist with social media content creation and manage assigned social media accounts. 
  • Liaise with the Senior Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Manager on platform strategy, scheduling, and content.

  • Qualification in Marketing, Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong proofreading and editing ability
  • Project coordination and time management skills
  • Ability to liaise confidently with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, open-plan team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Strong Advantage

  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Experience with brand identity and corporate style guides
  • Exposure to FMCG, health, wellness, or direct selling industry will be an advantage
  • Additional African languages (French, Portuguese, Swahili, etc.) will be an advantage
  • Experience with print production and supplier management
