Overall, the Branch Managers is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the branch, starting with the opening and closing of the Branch, achieving financial targets, and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and the community. They serve as a crucial link between upper management and frontline staff, playing a key role in the organization's success.
The Sales manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing day-to-day operations, with a main focus on sales. Their responsibilities span various areas:
Sales and Marketing:
Develop and Implement sales strategies
Identify opportunities for business growth, particularly in acquiring Key Accounts
Work closely with the sales team on a daily basis, meet and achieve sales targets
Recruit, train and supervise branch staff
Management Sales Representatives and individual budgets
Customer Service:
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Resolve customer complaints and issues
Implement strategies to attract and retain customers, including daily customer visits
Financial Management:
Monitor and manage the branch's financial performance
Control expenses and ensure budget compliance
Operations Management:
Open and closure of Branch
Collaborate with Operations Manager on inventory and supply chain processes
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Manage and mitigate risks associated with branch operations
Implement security measures to protect assets and personnel
Reporting and documentation:
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Provide regular updates to the Head of Sales
Tracer to be completed by all Sales people including Branch Manager
Community Engagement:
Build relationships with local community
Participate in community events and sponsorships
Enhance the company's public image within the Branch's community
Strategic Planning:
Contribute to the development of Branch-specific goals and objectivs
Implement strategies for long-term success
Collaborate with upper management on broader company strategies
Communication:

Represent the branch in meetings and discussions.

In addition to the above you may be required to perform all reasonable duties assigned to you or related to the proper completion of your job tasks.
During a work colleague's leave of absence from the company or during a month end or peak business period, you may be required to perform other job tasks upon reasonable requests from your Manager
