Duties
Position: Draughting
- Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and plans for architectural structures, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design specifications and requirements are met in the drafting process.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to accurately depict architectural designs and layouts.
- Revise and modify drawings as necessary based on feedback from project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with other members of the design team to ensure consistency and accuracy in the drawings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for architectural drafting.
- Assist in the preparation of presentation materials for client meetings and project proposals.
- Maintain organized and detailed records of all drawings and revisions for future reference.
- Conduct site visits and take measurements to incorporate into drafting work.
- Ensure all drawings adhere to building codes and regulations.

Duties
- Oversee a team of welders in the steel industry to ensure welding procedures are performed correctly and efficiently.
- Develop and implement welding techniques and processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Inspect and troubleshoot welds to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.
- Train new welders on proper welding techniques and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret blueprints and technical drawings for welding projects.
- Monitor inventory of welding materials and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety regulations in the welding work area.
- Coordinate with project managers to schedule welding tasks and meet project deadlines.
