Duties
We are the National Sales Company for Nissan in Sudan; we are responsible for the development of the Nissan Dealer Network in Sudan as we are the importer and distributor for Nissan products and parts in Sudan. We have our own dealerships that we operate and we appoint dealership to other investors if they are interested to open dealerships in the rest of Sudan. We supply all the training and support to the dealerships. My key responsibilities are the following

Implementation of international standards into our dealer network. (Sudan being a developing economy)
Strategic management of the dealer network
Financial management of the National sales company and our own Nissan Dealers
Brand development
Infrastructure development
Sales and marketing at National and regional level.
System development
Cost reduction and productivity improvement.

At this stage a lot of my attention is focused on micro management of our dealerships as there is a great skills shortage in Sudan, I do a lot of mentoring and coaching at this stage.


Automotive - Motor Vehicles : Brand Manager From 2008 To 2009
Duties
Duties:

To ensure maximum efficiency and profitability of the Company whilst giving customer satisfaction. They formulate and administer Company policy, control cash flow, stocks and assets at a level commensurate with profit requirements and satisfactory return on investment, and maximise Company profitability through the sale of vehicles, associated products, parts and labour.

Key Tasks
X Ensure all departments achieve profit margins as per their objectives.
X Ensure Company attains an overall net profit of its targeted profit.
X Continually monitor the financial situation on a daily/weekly basis to achieve financial objectives.
X Examine all accounts, operating controls and composite figures to initiate improvement or corrective action where required.
X Ensure high level of contact with the bank, ensuring good cash flow, overdraft and loan facilities as necessary.
X Forecast peak sales criteria and cash requirements.
X Monitor and control availability of vehicle and parts stock in line with customer demand and projected sales.
X Maintain and where possible increase market penetration to meet company objectives.
X Improve stock turnover ratios, reduce stock holding value and increase sales to meet objectives set by the company.
X Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profits.
X Improve the quality of customer service and retention by enhanced facilities, improved technical skills resulting in lower cost of ownership and improved marketing methods.
X Ensure high standards of quality and workmanship.
X Maintain effective control of expenses in line with budget objectives.
X Carry out monthly examination of management accounts.
X Ensure maximum cost effective stock turnover ratios.
X Ensure all customer invoices have been prepared and submitted.
X Examine daily/weekly/monthly debtor situation ensuring collection of outstanding.
